Everything you want to know about Tucson is right here. Whether is an historical question or a query about the economics and demographics of one of Conde Nast Traveler magazine's firendliest cities, this is the place for answers. The Old Pueblo is growing into quite a hot spot these days, but how much do you really know about this wonderful travel destination?
From the world's largest gem, mineral, and fossil showcase to rodeos to professional golf, this place has something for everyone. In addition, there will be 45 Major League Baseball games in the spring, so mark down the key dates and plan to attend. You can never start too early.
This city of 800,000 still clings to its desert environment and easy-going lifestyle. Tucson has plenty to offer outdoor enthusiasts, history buffs, urban cowboys, and culture vultures alike. Whether it's hiking, horseback riding, watching spring training games are relaxing at a spa, it's all here and waiting for you.

every year,” he said, “and let me tell you, very few of them are
happy with the eleventh hole. It’s a rough one.”

The Phoenix/Tucson area is chock full of courses and the newest - and

-- is the Canoa Ranch Golf Club. Startling views of the Santa Rita
Mountains and Elephant Head
pop up on almost all holes. Eventually, houses will fill up much of the
course, but right now there are lots of wide-open spaces. According to staff
writer Rebecca Larsen, Canoa Ranch proves there's room for quality even when
the budget is tight and space is at a premium.
